Introduction
We will go over some upscale restaurants in Vouliagmeni broader area. Me and my wife are foodies so we like to explore when we are in an area different restaurants. One of the areas that we usually visit is Vouliagmeni. It’s located in the superb of Attica in the sea coast. It offers nice lodging and beaches but one of the best thing is the restaurants it has with views of the ocean. I will try to outline some of our favorite hotspots and why we like them.
Me and my wife are restaurant lovers and one of the places we often go too is Vouliagmeni, while there’s a great variety of restaurants there today we will focus on what we like to eat.
Casanova Restaurant Vouliagmeni
This is one of my favorite restaurants not so close to the water but the ambiance especially for dinner is great. It has an outdoor patio so if you have a family you can sit there and relax, especially if the weather is nice. But if you prefer something more exclusive and private the indoor part is also great with nice lighting and piano music playing in the background. I liked their pasta quite a bit especially the black mushroom one but my favorite thing there was their margarita pizza with buffalo mozarella on top try it and you won’t regret it!

Matsuhisa Restaurant Vouliagmeni
This is probably a unique eastern/asian experience of a restaurant. It has a lot of good attributes to it but mostly the variation of their menu and the inclusion of local fish that you can’t find outside Greece.

Ithaki Restaurant Vouliagmeni
If you want to enjoy the vibe of a Greek island and experience a great seafood cousine then look no further, Ithaki is for you. The only disadvantage here is that it’s very expensive for what you get. I understand the quality is supreme but know you are paying a price tag for eating with a great view and wild caught seafood.

Moorings Restaurant Vouliagmeni
Last but not least moorings, it offers a good mix of good environment vibe awesome views and a decent variation in their menu that will satisfy both meat and seafood lovers. If you are not sure where to go and do not want to stash a huge amount of money this is a good all around option. I have to note that if you are undecided whether or not to get meat or seafood I suggest to go with seafood as their meat dishes are average.

Hytra Restaurant Athens
I know Hytra is not in Vouliagmeni but since it’s so good I figured I’d give it an honorable mention here. In my opinion this is something you should not miss if you are visiting Athens. Hytra is a Michelin star awarded restaurant with very creative dishes. Here you will find luxury and special chef creations. I can attest the whole dinning is an experience not found elsewhere very easily. One of the most important parts is to secure a reservation if you planning on coming in the future. Why? Because every time I tried to go there it was fully booked, especially during the winter seasons. You will be presented with two main options the gastronomic or the casual menu. The choice is yours but I always go with the gastronomic version as I like to explore new things. I highly recommended more on the food perspective.

Conclusion
Since I really enjoy views and good quality food it’s not difficult to justify to myself spending a few extra bucks on a restaurant however if you really just want to eat a quick bite and enjoy your meal there’s a lot of other alternatives. Please reserve this list for your special occasions or when you really want a break from the regular restaurants you go too.
