Best value restaurants in Miami

Introduction

Today we will talk about the best value restaurants in Miami and the general broader area. One of the things I’ve always looked for while in Miami is good value for your money. As this can have a long pretense to it and everyone might interpret it differently let me briefly say what I mean by this. A good value for your money on the food you get location, vibe etc matter but they are not the most important factors here. This also has a lot of personal taste into it so please take it with a grain of salt, talking of salt I’m not a big fan of salty stuff unless it’s Soy sauce!

Me and my wife are restaurant lovers and one of the places we often go too in Miami, while there’s a great variety of restaurants there today we will focus on what we like to eat at a budget. Keep in mind if you want something more upscale this may not be the list for you.

Maido Restaurant Miami

I can easily say this is my goto place when I want to eat good food in a fast way. I’m a big fan of their lunch menu particularly the bento boxes, if I’m going there for dinner I prefer to get their sushi platter depending on how hungry we are we get a bunch of appetizers too whatever they have at the day, make sure you try their little fried fish!

Enriqueta’s Restaurant Miami

Another staple if you are in the mood for cuban food. It will not fail you as they have a long ongoing tradition with a lot of repeat customers. Needless to say go for the cuban sandwich which is a mix of deli meats toasted in a cuban bread with butter and some side of chips. It may sound simple but it’s very tasty as it packs good set of flavors in it.

Royal Thai Restaurant Miami

Anyone said spicy? Yes this is a very traditional thai restaurant located in the Doral area. Their food is packed with flavor bringing in an astonishingly fresh ingredients served by an old Thai guy! It can’t get anymore traditional than this, you get the authentic flavor for a great value! Do not go here if you are trying to have the ambiance it’s literally located in a mall area at the top floor.

The river oyster bar Restaurant Miami

I was very tempted whether or not to include this one in the list as it’s a cross border between value and expensive. I’d say I am including it in the value list as I believe despite the cost you really get good value for your money. The food here, the environment and the vibe is great. Also the presentation of the food particularly the vodka oyster shots, or the oyster assortment, the grilled black grouper etc are spectacular dishes. Come here if you are willing to spend a little more money than a value meal but still get your moneys worth on what you eat. If you are looking strictly to stay on budget this may be a skip for you as it may get expensive especially if you start pilling up the drinks on it.

I tried to list different cousins above as you already know Miami has a plethora of good value restaurants and new ones open up every day. I’m sure I missed some of them but please drop me a line if you think there’s a huge miss here, the list above is mainly my personal taste for food which may differ for a lot of people. I can only go by anecdotal evidence and what my friends have also liked and recommended. Looking forward to your recommendations!
